I enjoyed this. Sure, the basic concept isn't very original, but what basic concept is? I'm impressed that they managed to give us a digestible movie-length story and still make me feel the much larger history around it. And, what can I say? The characters were interesting and likable, the main villain was mustache-twistingly evil, and the action was… you know, action. Plus, it's really hard not to like a movie that stars Charlize Theron. She's so freakin' cool.
