Whatever

I'm just not feeling the bloggery lately, so here's some random social media bits from sort of recently.

That's my fuzzy man. Some call him Captain Scrappy:

Speckle sizing up a potential adversary:

There's a house somewhere under all that:

Found some buried treasure... -y editions:

To be clear, I wasn't complaining when I posted this (below). Honestly, it's probably for the best that not many people bought it. The part where I might have pulled everything together properly and turned it into a finished game never happened because I realized I had no interest in doing that, ever. I had already done a lot of work though, so I just kind of hacked out what I had and there it is.

Best I can tell, Nick Fury and Dum-Dum Dugan beat the crap out of this guy and, when confronted, pretended to have no idea what happened. "Yeah, uh, I think I heard something off thattaway."

The Old Guard:
I enjoyed this. Sure, the basic concept isn't very original, but what basic concept is? I'm impressed that they managed to give us a digestible movie-length story and still make me feel the much larger history around it. And, what can I say? I'm a sucker for the theme of a small group of special people being hounded by the ant-like hordes of normal humanity. The characters were interesting and likable, the main villain was mustache-twistingly evil, and the action was… you know, action. Plus, it's really hard not to like a movie that stars Charlize Theron. She's so freakin' cool.

And I made habanero raisins:
